Course Description
Debriefing is recognized as a critical component of the simulation experience, however, design and application varies widely. Paul Paulman, MD will moderate a panel of experienced UNMC faculty including Mike Wadman, MD, Jennifer Adams, MD and Kristen Bryan-Wessel, RN, MSN, which will discuss key considerations in the debriefing process. Featured topics will be debriefing structure, timing, reactions, perceptions, challenges, intended and unintended learning outcomes, and links to real world situations. The panel will explore what has proven to be the most effective techniques relating to specific learning objectives.

Pre-registration is required. For UNMC faculty, there is no fee to attend this course (CIK 10196). Complimentary lunch will be served at 11 AM with the course beginning shortly after.
