03/11/2010 11:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M.

Location
Michael F. Sorrell Center for Health Science Education

Omaha NE 68198
MSC 4053
Course Description
Selecting a topic for your research and, in particular a grant application, requires a thought process that becomes increasingly refined. The place to start is a review of a general research area including individual background, experience and interests. An important consideration is also how you will obtain funding for your research. Eleanor Rogan, PhD will detail the critical thinking process as it evolves, including seeking the feedback of informed colleagues. This program aims to aid those new to research by demystifying how the best ideas, knowledge, and products are born.
