Course Description
Difficult people can make life so darn, well, er…difficult. Unfortunately, difficult people populate virtually all environments and the hospital environment is a prime example. This is not because hospitals attract difficult people; it is because hospitals are stressful environments and stress can cause even typically easy going people to become difficult. Fortunately, there are proven methods that can defuse difficulty and make life easier, not only for ourselves, but also for the persons presenting the difficulty. This presentation by Patrick Friman, PhD, ABPP, will describe the ten most potent of these methods.
