Course Description
Dizziness among older adults is challenging for health care professionals due to the increased risk it poses for fall and disability, and the difficulty in diagnosing its underlying cause(s). This conference (part 2 of a 2-part series) provides foundational information relevant to all health care professionals about evidence-based approaches to determining whether the cause of dizziness is related to the vestibular system and whether a referral for rehabilitation is appropriate. General tips and rehabilitation techniques to prevent and reduce complications of dizziness will be discussed.
