REMOTE ACCESS
Virtual Private Network consists of a public communications network that uses Internet technologies to deliver information securely to a closed user group. Restrictions apply to taking this software outside the US or Canada. Minimum system requirements include:
  • An already setup and configured Internet Service Provider (ISP) or Digital Subscriber Line (DSL)
  • An already configured network portion of your workstation (to log into a Novell server or an NT domain.
  • PC with 100 MHz Pentium (or higher) processor
  • MS Windows 95, 98, ME, NT, 2000, XP and Mac 0S 8.0 or greater / OS10.0.1 or greater
  • 10 MB of available hard disk space
  • 128MB of memory
  • IP network transport
  • Secure ID Card
 
SECURE ID
A SecurID Card is needed for remote access to secured systems such as the medical/clinical systems. The current cost is $74 per card.
